Type "movers NYC" into most quote sites and here's what happens: your phone number is auctioned to a dozen moving companies before you close the tab, and for the next two weeks you are the lead. Twelve companies bought you; twelve companies call you.
NYC Moving Pros runs the opposite model. Each request goes to one moving partner, not a list. The intake captures the NYC-specific mechanics—COIs, freight elevators, walk-ups, inventory, and timing—so the partner has the information needed for a useful follow-up.
How we make money, plainly:our moving partner pays us for referrals. There is no separate fee from NYC Moving Pros to submit a request. Before booking, review the mover's written estimate and independently verify the legal name, licensing or operating authority, and insurance appropriate to the move.

Before an introduction
The verification record should match the job.
A partner profile is reviewed for service area, operating fit, insurance information, and licensing or authority where the work requires it. For interstate work, customers should still independently verify the legal entity and federal record before booking.
You are never required to hire the introduced partner. If the scope, availability, identity, or written terms do not work for you, decline the introduction and do not pay a deposit.
