What will your NYC move actually cost?
National moving calculators don't know what a fourth-floor walk-up in Park Slope does to a price. This one does. Pick your details and get a planning range — then a written estimate if you want the real number.
Planning range for this move
$1,000 – $1,475
That includes peak-season pricing (May–Sep). Flexible dates? An off-peak, mid-month move can run 20–30% less.
Request a written quoteRanges are planning estimates, not quotes. The moving partner prepares the written estimate after reviewing the actual inventory, access, services, and date.

How this estimate works
The base rate uses planning assumptions informed by typical licensed-mover pricing for each apartment size within NYC. Cross-borough moves add ~15% for drive and toll time. Each flight of walk-up stairs adds ~8% — that's crew labor, not a junk fee. May through September adds ~20% because every lease in the city turns over in summer.
